Wikipedia Abstract

Lepidonotothen larseni, the painted notie, is a species of cod icefish native to the Southern Ocean, ranging east from southern South America to south of the central Indian Ocean where it occurs at depths of from 30 to 750 metres (98 to 2,461 ft). This species can reach a length of 24 centimetres (9.4 in) TL.
