Brandt's bat (Myotis brandtii) is a species of vesper bat in the family Vespertilionidae.It is found throughout most of Europe and parts of Asia. It is known for its extreme longevity quotient, approximately twice that of humans. It is named for the German zoologist Johann Friedrich von Brandt.
