Wikipedia Abstract

Thor's fritillary (Boloria thore or Clossiana thore) is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It occurs in damp places in the Alps, Fennoscandia, the south of European Russia, the Urals, Siberia and East Asia. The wingspan is 28–34 mm. The species produces one generation every two years. Larvae feed on species of Viola.
