Phrynobatrachus acridoides is a species of frog in the Phrynobatrachidae family.It is found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and possibly Swaziland, Uganda, and Zambia.Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, shrub-dominated wetlands, swamps, intermittent freshwater lakes, salt water marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, rural gardens, urban areas and canals and ditches.
