The Sumichrast's wren (Hylorchilus sumichrasti), or the slender-billed wren is a species of bird in the Troglodytidae family.It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and plantations .It is threatened by habitat loss. The common name of this species commemorates the Mexican naturalist Francis Sumichrast.
