The blackish-blue seedeater (Amaurospiza moesta) is a species of bird in the family Cardinalidae. It was formerly placed with the American sparrows in the Emberizidae. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.It is threatened by habitat loss.
