Penstemon barrettiae is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family known by the common name Barrett's beardtongue. It is endemic to the Pacific Northwest of North America, where it occurs only in Washington and Oregon. This plant generally grows on cliffs and rock outcrops. The soils are thin. The plant may anchor in rock cracks and crevices in talus. It may be found on roadsides in appropriate habitat.
