The buff-fronted quail-dove (Zentrygon costaricensis) or Costa Rican quail-dove is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in Costa Rica and Panama where its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests where it forages on the ground for seeds and fruit. This stocky ground-dwelling dove measures 28 cm (11 in) and weighs 320 g (11 oz).
