Eucalyptus carnea, known as the thick-leafed mahogany, is a common eucalyptus tree of the dry coastal areas of northern New South Wales and adjacent areas in southern Queensland. The bark is rough, resembling a stringybark, though not as coarse, grey to brown. The tree grows up to 30 metres (98 ft) tall. This tree occurs in dry sclerophyll forest, north from the Hunter River.
