Acacia epacantha is a shrub of the genus Acacia and the subgenus Pulchellae. It is native to an area on the west coast in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The dense bushy spiny shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 0.5 metres (0.7 to 1.6 ft). It blooms from July to August and produces yellow flowers.
