Acacia arida is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Juliflorae. It is native to an area of the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. The shrub typically grows to a height of 0.9 to 3 metres (3 to 10 ft). It blooms from February to March or July to August producing yellow flowers. It grows on red sandy or stony soils.
