Acacia galeata is a shrub or tree of the genus Acacia and the subgenus Plurinerves. It is native to an area in the Mid West region of Western Australia. The bushy rounded shrub or tree typically grows to a height of 1 to 6 metres (3 to 20 ft). It blooms from April to June and produces yellow flowers.
