Acacia imitans is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to a very small area around Yalgoo in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The low dense spreading shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 1.0 metre (0.7 to 3.3 ft) and to a width of 2.0 metres (6.6 ft). It blooms from August to September and produces yellow flowers.
