Acacia basedowii is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the central Goldfields region of Western Australia. The divaricate, spreading and prickly shrub typically grows to a height of 0.5 to 1 metre (2 to 3 ft). It blooms from June to October and produces yellow flowers.
