Agathis moorei is a species of Agathis, endemic to New Caledonia, where it occurs scattered throughout the island in subtropical rainforest at altitudes of up to 1,000 m. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is a medium-sized evergreen tree growing up to 30 m tall. The leaves are in decussate opposite pairs, 5–7 cm long (up to 20 cm long on young plants) and 8–12 mm broad. The cones are oval, up to 15 cm long and 12 cm diameter, and disintegrate at maturity to release the winged seeds.
