Melanthera tenuifolia (formerly Lipochaeta tenuifolia) is a rare species of flowering plant in the aster family known by the common names Waianae Range nehe and slender-leaf nehe. It is endemic to Hawaii, where it is known only from the island of Oahu. It grows on mountain slopes and ridges and is limited to the Waianae Range of Oahu. There are 10 occurrences for a total population between 2,000 and 3,000 individuals.
