Leptospermum spectabile is a shrub species that is endemic to New South Wales, Australia. It grows to 3 metres high and has narrow leaves that are about 20 to 35 mm long and 3 to 5 mm wide. The dark red flowers are about 20 mm in diameter and appear between October and November in the species native range. The species was formally described in 1989 by Joy Thompson in Telopea, based on plant material collected in the Colo River gorge to the north-west of Windsor.
