Kunzea muelleri is a low-growing shrub in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to mountainous areas of south-eastern Australia. In the Kosciuszko National Park, groups of plants up to 20 cm high cover large areas. Plants have yellow, stalkless flowers that appear in the summer. The numerous stamens are longer than the petals.
