Anisomeles, with common name catmint, is a genus of herbaceous plants of the family Lamiaceae first described in 1810. It is native to China, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, New Guinea, Australia, Madagascar, and assorted islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
