Wikipedia Abstract

Zanthoxylum rhetsa is a tree in the Rutaceae family. It is seen everywhere in the Western ghats. It grows up to a height of 35 meters. The kodagas use the fruits which are just a bit more the size of pepper as masala in food. Many butterflies use this as hostplants.
