Wikipedia Abstract

Grevillea paradoxa, commonly known as the Bottlebrush grevillea, is a shrub of the genus Grevillea native to an area in the Mid West, Wheatbelt and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia. The erect, spreading, prickly and non lignotuberous shrub typically grows to a height of 0.5 to 2 metres (2 to 7 ft) and has non-glaucous branchlets. It has simple dissected leaves with a blade that is 15 to 50 millimetres (0.6 to 2.0 in) long. It blooms from June to October and produces an axillary raceme regular inflorescence with red or pink flowers and red-pink styles. Later it forms ovoid glandular and hairy fruit that is 8 to 13 mm (0.3 to 0.5 in) long.
