Wikipedia Abstract

Grevillea monticola, commonly known as the Holly leaf grevillea, is a shrub of the genus Grevillea native to a small area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The evergreen spreading to erect shrub typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 1.6 metres (1 to 5 ft) and has non-glaucous branchlets. It has simple flat undissected leaves with a blade that is 25 to 65 millimetres (1.0 to 2.6 in) in length and 15 to 35 millimetres (0.6 to 1.4 in) wide. It blooms from June to October and produces a terminal raceme irregular inflorescence with white or cream flowers. Later it forms rugose ellipsoidal or ovoid glabrous fruit that is 8 to 12 mm (0.3 to 0.5 in) long.
