Wikipedia Abstract

Helicia nortoniana, also named Norton's silky oak, is a species of rainforest trees, of north–eastern Queensland, Australia, and constitutes part of the flowering plant family Proteaceae. Botanists know of them growing naturally only (endemic) in the rainforests of the Wet Tropics region, from about 0 to 1,000 m (0 to 3,281 ft) altitude. They have been recorded growing up to about 20 m (66 ft) tall.
