Nymphaea gigantea is a species of aquatic perennial herbaceous plant native to Australia and New Guinea. The plant is a tropical and substropical species that establishes tubers in the muddy bottoms of still waters; its leaves are round, and grow up to 75 cm in diameter, and the large flowers are blue-white.
