Wikipedia Abstract

Egira hiemalis is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from British Columbia south to California. The wingspan is about 36 mm. Adults are on wing from April to May. The larvae feed on Kunzia tridentata, Abies grandis, Tsuga heterophylla and Pseudotsuga species, including Pseudotsuga menziesii.
