Coleophora taeniipennella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in most of Europe. The wingspan is 9–12 mm. Adults are on wing in June and July. The larvae feed on the seeds of Juncus articulatus, Juncus effusus, Juncus inflexus, Juncus subnodulosus, Juncus acutiflorus and Juncus conglomeratus. They form a case.
