Orthochilus ecristatus, the giant orchid, is a terrestrial species of orchid native to Cuba and to the southeastern United States (from Louisiana to North Carolina). It was previously known as Eulophia ecristata or Pteroglossaspis ecristata until recently transferred to the genus Orthochilus.
