Varieties \n* Romanoa tamnoides var. sinuata (Ule) Radcl.-Sm. - Bahia \n* Romanoa tamnoides var. tamnoides - Paraguay, SE Brazil (Minas Gerais, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro) The genus name Romanoa is also used for a fungus.
