It is native to Nansei-shoto, Mariana Islands, Solomon Islands, Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, Maluku, Sulawesi, Philippines, Lesser Sunda Islands, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan.
