The cricket warbler or cricket longtail (Spiloptila clamans) is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family. It belongs to the genus Spiloptila; it is often the only species included in the genus but sometimes the red-fronted warbler is placed there as well. It is found in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, and Sudan.Its natural habitats are dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
