The glow-throated hummingbird, colibri ardent, or colibrÍ ardiente (Selasphorus ardens) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is one of seven species in the genus Selasphorus. It is endemic to Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
