The sapphire-vented puffleg (Eriocnemis luciani) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family.It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It sometimes includes the coppery-naped puffleg as a subspecies.
