The spot-throated hummingbird (Leucippus taczanowskii) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in northern Peru, with uncorroborated sightings from extreme south Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
