The violet-capped hummingbird (Goldmania violiceps) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Colombia and Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Found mostly from 2,000 to 4,000 feet in elevation.
