Wikipedia Abstract

The yellow-eared parrot (Ognorhynchus icterotis), is an endangered parrot of tropical America. It is found in the Andes of Colombia and (perhaps only formerly) Ecuador and is closely associated to the wax palm Ceroxylon sp. which is itself endangered.
