The moustached puffbird (Malacoptila mystacalis) is a species of puffbird in the Bucconidae family. It is one of seven species in the genus Malacoptila. It is found in Colombia and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical dry forests, subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical and tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
