Morelet's tree frog (Agalychnis moreletii) is a species of tree frog of family Hylidae. It belongs to the leaf frog subfamily (Phyllomedusinae), and is found in Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. They have also been called black-eyed leaf frog and popeye hyla. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. This frog is almost extinct due to habitat loss.
