The lake duck (Oxyura vittata) is a small, South American stiff-tailed duck. It is also called the Argentine blue-bill, Argentine lake duck, or Argentine ruddy duck. The lake duck lives in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil in southern South America.
