Caloptilia octopunctata is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, India, Australia (New South Wales and Queensland), New Zealand and Indonesia. The wingspan is 9–13 mm.
