The golden gudgeon (Hypseleotris aurea) is a species of sleeper goby endemic to Australia, where it is found in rocky pools in the Murchison and Gascoyne Rivers in Western Australia. This species can reach a length of 8 cm (3.1 in). It can be found in the aquarium trade.
