Sheepshead porgy (Calamus penna) is a species of fish of the porgy family, Sparidae, only found in the Atlantic Ocean. Its teeth are like a sheep's. It is only distantly related with the California Sheephead of the Pacific Ocean.Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn is named after this fish.
