Wikipedia Abstract

Holocentrus adscensionis is a squirrelfish of the Holocentridae family from the Atlantic Ocean. It reaches up to 61 cm (24 in) in length. In the Western Atlantic, it is found from North Carolina, USA, and Bermuda to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico and throughout the West Indies and Caribbean shores. In the Eastern Atlantic, it can be found from Gabon to Angola, as well as the South Atlantic islands of Saint Helena and Ascension.
