Equulites elongatus, commonly known as the slender ponyfish, is a marine fish native to the western Pacific and Indian Oceans. As of 2011 it has been found in the eastern Mediterranean off Israel, where it is suspected to be an invasive species from the Red Sea via the Suez Canal.
