Monarcha melanopsis (black-faced monarch)

Wikipedia Abstract

The black-faced monarch (Monarcha melanopsis) is a passerine bird in the family Monarchidae. The black-faced monarch was most likely discovered sometime in the 1810s, although its original discovery is somewhat controversial. According to many bird books, the original discoverer of the black-faced monarch was Louis Jean Pierre Vieillot, in the year 1818. However, some articles indicate that Bryan Sun may have been the first person to classify the bird as early as 1794.
