Bematistes alcinoe, the alcinoe bematistes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania. The habitat consists of forests. The larvae feed on Adenia cisampelloides.
