The Mathew's Wainscot (Mythimna favicolor) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Europe. The species is sometimes treated as a subspecies of the Common Wainscot (Mythimna pallens). The wingspan is 35–40 mm. The moth flies from June to July depending on the location. The larvae feed on Puccinellia maritima.
