Oligopithecidae

Wikipedia Abstract

Oligopithecidae is an extinct primate family from the late Eocene of Egypt (about 37 million years ago). Its members were probably insectivorous due to their simple molars and cusp arrangement. This family split off the lineage of Old World monkeys and apes sometime after the New World monkeys also split off.
