Wikipedia Abstract

Heterochyta aprepta is a moth in the Xyloryctidae family. It was described by Turner in 1947. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Western Australia. The wingspan is about 29 mm. The forewings are ochreous-whitish sprinkled with fuscous and with a fuscous costal streak from the base nearly to the apex and another streak on the fold. There is also a longitudinal median streak from the middle to three-fourths. The hindwings are grey-whitish.
