Lampropteryx suffumata, the water carpet, is a moth of the Geometridae family. It is found from Europe to the Altai Mountains and the Kamchatka Peninsula. The habitat consists of woodland, grassy areas, chalk downland and scrubland. Adults are in wing from March to June in one generation. The larva feed on Galium species. Larvae can be found from May to June. It overwinters in the pupal stage.
