Pelagia benovici (Piraino, Aglieri, Scorrano & Boero, 2014) is a jellyfish in the family Pelagiidae, along with Pelagia noctiluca. In Latin, Pelagia means "of the sea". The team who discovered this jellyfish named it benovici, after a late colleague, Adam Benovic.
